< Gunung Gading National Park, Lundu >

Helllo,

It's have been quite a long time I didn't update my blog. Life seems a bit busy this few months. We (Plant Science student) having our field trip to Gunung Gading National Park, Lundu last month. I really enjoyed it. Everyone felt excited as it was our first time saw a real rafflesia. It was the second day of Rafflesia blooming the day we went there. According to the staff that giving a briefing to us, that is a new finding of rafflesia species. It is smaller if compared to the other species of rafflesia. At Gunung Gading National Park, that the only species that can be found. There are so many other exotic plant can be found there. It is including pitcher plant and also a protected plant from a family Araceae (special characteristic : spadix).

Besides that, there are three waterfall can be found there if I'm not mistaken. Some of my coursemate even take a bath there after tired of searching for 10 species of plant from different Families.
